Voting & Community Guidelines
Draft for review by a qualified US lawyer before launch. The operator must finalize these terms and their business details.
One person, honest participation
Use your own verified email account. Do not create extra accounts, buy or sell votes, automate voting, impersonate customers, or offer rewards conditional on voting. Owners must not vote for their own businesses. You may share your profile link without pressuring people.
Limits that apply to everyone
One new vote per verified user per rolling 24 hours across RankByVote, and one active vote per user per business. During the first 168 hours, you may remove or switch a vote up to three times. A switch must stay in the original city and category. The vote keeps its original timestamp. Removed votes do not reset the 24-hour cooldown.
Weekly and overall
After 168 hours, ordinary changes are locked and the vote leaves the weekly count. It remains in the overall count while eligible. Administrative fraud invalidation and verified legal/privacy requests are handled separately from ordinary changes.
Moderation and appeals
Security signals help administrators investigate potential abuse but are not proof of wrongdoing. Admins can invalidate fraudulent votes with logged reasons and review reports or ownership disputes. Use Contact to report a problem or request review. These are community votes, not independently purchase-verified reviews.
